Today, I caught a simple moment that perfectly captures the Haytown educational approach.

The time we spend with our students is intentional because we believe every moment holds the potential for learning. We are never just passing the time, and there is no fluff or filler.

We sing while we wait. We count as we climb the stairs. We engage in conversation while sharing snack. We find opportunities to build skills, nurture curiosity, and make connections in the everyday moments that make up our day.

Today, Mrs. Chen was leading her 4-year old students in letter writing and hand-strengthening exercises while they waited for the bathroom. It might seem like a small thing, but these moments make a huge impact. Miss Noelle, we see you doing your thing with the Transitional Kindergarteners too!

Our days are brimming with engagement and learning because our incredible teachers turn ordinary moments into meaningful ones. That’s part of the Haytown magic!

Two-year-olds are busy figuring out the world around them, and there is no better place to do that than our Raspberry Class!

Raspberries is designed for our youngest independent learners. Children learn through their senses, one magnificent discovery at a time.

Little hands explore sensory bins, squishy play-doh, and paint.

Ears take in nursery rhymes, music, and a language-rich environment filled with conversation, stories, rhythm, and songs.

Taste buds enjoy wholesome snacks eaten with teachers and friends. These days, snack may be applesauce or pumpkin muffins made right in the classroom!

Curious eyes and button noses take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors on early morning nature walks through our beautiful campus.

Each day is a thoughtful blend of child-led exploration and teacher-guided activities, giving children the space to follow their curiosity while growing in confidence and independence, and finding their place in a classroom setting.

We currently have spaces available in our Raspberry Class. If you have a two-and-a half year old at home, we would love to welcome your family into our Haytown community.
