Music has been part of the GCA story for a long time. 🎶

These photos from 1982 show our choir, Camerata, and band doing what Georgia-Cumberland Academy students have always done: using their gifts to honor God. Fast forward to this year's Parents Weekend, and that same spirit is alive and stronger than ever.

At GCA, music isn't just something we teach. It's part of how we nurture our students, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and faith as they learn to worship and lead others in worship.

This weekend, our campus was full of families, conversations, and hugs. 🤍 Parents' Weekend is one of our favorite reminders of what makes GCA special: the families who stand behind every student.

Throughout the decades, parents have had the vision and faith to trust the process and to trust GCA with their children. To every family, past and present: thank you. We are truly grateful.

In Memory of Peggi Noon, Class of 1976 🕊️
We’re heartbroken to share that Peggi Noon, GCA Class of 1976 and former class president, has passed away. Peggi founded Pegasus Riding Academy in Savannah, GA, a therapeutic riding program that gave hundreds of children with autism, Down syndrome, and other challenges a place to build confidence, even while she battled cancer herself. Her heart for others left a lasting mark. Our thoughts are with her family and all she touched.
