Immediately following Distinguished Young Women of Georgia, Charlotte traveled to Yakima, Washington, with her church youth group to serve alongside Sacred Road Ministries. Throughout the week, she and her team helped reroof and paint a home. In the afternoons, they hosted Kids Clubs for children in the community, building relationships through games, activities, and encouragement. The experience allowed Charlotte to combine hard work with meaningful service, making a lasting impact on those they served. 🙏

Charlotte Stansfield, Distinguished Young Woman of Georgia Class of 2027, interned this summer for GHEHI (GA Higher Education Healthcare Initiative) which is a part of Hull Property Group. She participated in researching federally qualified health centers and wrote newsletters that were read by policy makers in this arena. This work culminated in a research paper that will be submitted to health centers who have an interest in broadening rural health care coverage in Georgia.
In these photos, her team is visiting the GA Capitol for the House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Health and Healthcare Oversight. Thank you Charlotte for your contribution to this initiative and making a difference within Georgia’s Healthcare System.

I’m not quite sure how we would have done it without these Distinguished Alumnae. They made sure that the DYWGA 2027 Program ran seamlessly! Thank you girls for your tireless help behind the scenes by making sure everyone had what they needed. We are so thankful for the young ladies that have had the DYW experience and are able to share it with others.
