Ms. Ranburger was selected as a recipient of the 2026 KSCA School Counseling Program Award, which recognizes Kentucky school counselors who are developing comprehensive counseling programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Only five school counselors across Kentucky were selected for this award for the 2026–2027 school year.

As part of the award, McLean County High School will receive $300 to support its comprehensive school counseling program and provide materials and supplies that benefit our students.
