A huge thank you to Mayor Cost and The City of Calera! Thank you for all of your support. 🦅💙💛

At the City Council meeting last night, Mayor Cost and the Calera City Council were proud to present each Calera school principal with a $10,000 check in support of our local schools.

Our City Council remains committed to helping provide the resources, facilities, and opportunities our students need to succeed. In addition to these funds, the City of Calera supports our schools in many other important ways, including:

- School Resource Officers who help promote a safe and secure learning environment

- Maintenance of all athletic fields used by Calera High School

- A softball/baseball/soccer locker room complex

- A football facility with an attached weight room

-Additional tennis courts, now nearing completion, so Calera High School can host home tennis matches

- Track and Field Facility

Investing in our schools is an investment in Calera’s future. We are grateful for our educators, administrators, students, and families. We are proud to support the work happening across every Calera school.
