The 2026-27 school year is right around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome students and families back to Caledonia!

📅 **Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center**
Open House times will be shared directly with families in teacher letters later this month.

📅 **Elementary Schools | August 19**
Caledonia, Dutton, Emmons Lake, Kettle Lake & Paris Ridge
• Kindergarten/Young Fives: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
• Grades 1-4: 5:00-6:00 p.m.

**PreK families:** You’re welcome to stop by during Elementary Open Houses to visit the buildings and explore the classrooms. PreK teachers will host a separate Meet the Teacher opportunity closer to the start of 4-year-old preschool. More details will be shared directly with enrolled families.

📅 **Kraft Meadows Intermediate | August 19**
• Grades 5-6: 3:30-5:00 p.m.

📅 **Duncan Lake Middle School | August 18**
• Grade 8: 3:00-4:30 p.m.
• Grade 7: 4:30-6:00 p.m.

📅 **Caledonia High School | August 17**
• Upperclassmen: 8:30-11:00 a.m.
• Freshmen: 12:00-2:30 p.m.

It’s that time of year again!!!

A friendly reminder for families! 💜💛

If your child will need medication at school or has a health condition that requires an action plan for the 2026-27 school year, now is a great time to complete the necessary paperwork.

Many healthcare providers require 10–14 days to complete forms, so getting them signed before August can help ensure everything is ready for the first day of school.

Please note:
• All medication and action plan forms must be dated after June 5, 2026.
• Prescription medications require both a parent/guardian and healthcare provider signature.

All families, whether your student rides the bus or not, need to complete the Transportation Form in the PowerSchool Parent Portal by tomorrow, Friday, June 26, 2026.

How to update:
Log in: powerschool.calschools.org
Click Forms in the left menu
Select Transportation Request/Change
Fill it out and click Submit

Reminders:
Include alternate pickup/drop-off addresses and contact info if needed.
Requests submitted after tomorrow may take 5–7 days to process and might not be ready on Day 1.

As the year ended we celebrated the amazing Mrs. Rath! 🎉 After 35 years of inspiring students, she’s hanging up her teaching hat and retiring. Mrs. Rath has been a superstar at Paris Ridge since the day we opened in 2010, bringing her energy, kindness, and expertise to everything she does. We will miss her, but we’re excited for all the adventures that lie ahead. Best of luck in your next chapter, Mrs. Rath—you’ve earned every moment! 🌟
