With less than two weeks left of school, we want to give a huge shoutout to the incredible Purple Sage drop-off team! 💜

Seriously — the whole process takes just minutes because of the amazing system they’ve created and the dedication they bring every single day. Rain, sleet, snow, wind, or heat… they are out there making drop-off and pick-up safe, smooth, and efficient for our families.

Meet Reed — one of the friendly faces at Purple Sage who is dedicated to helping keep our students and staff safe every day. 💙 The kids like to call him Mr. Cool 😎

He’s the one offering a smile at drop-off, a steady presence in the halls, and a reassuring watch over our kids. Students know him. Staff trust him. Families appreciate him.

You may hear different terms used when talking about school safety staff. Reed serves as a school security guard, which is different from a School Resource Officer (SRO). SROs are law enforcement officers employed through a police department and school security guards are district staff focused on campus safety, student support, building monitoring and helping create a safe school environment each day.

As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, we want to share that positions like Reed’s will be eliminated if the levy fails, since it is replacing a current levy that is expiring.

The first grade fishing field trip was a success! 🎣

Thanks to the guidance of Idaho Fish and Game, students got to learn and practice real fishing skills—from tying knots to casting and even fishing in the pond.

The day wrapped up with bowling fun 🎳, generously supported by our PTO. This is a perfect example of your donations in action—creating meaningful, memorable experiences for our kids.
