Our Alphabet activity is all about building letters with mini marshmallows and craft sticks! 🔤☁️ A fun, hands-on way to practice letter recognition, fine-motor skills, following directions, and learning how letters are formed. 💛

Today we were building, creating, and learning through play with our Apple Tree STEM activity! 🍏🧠✨

I love watching these little Rascals turn simple materials into something amazing while practicing fine motor skills, creativity, problem-solving, and following directions.

🍂🍁 FALL SENSORY PLAY! 🍁🍂

Our little rascals are exploring a sensory bin filled with PASTA SHAPED LIKE LITTLE FALL LEAVES! 🌾🍝🍂

The different colors and shapes make this such a fun way to practice scooping, pouring, sorting, counting, colors, and fine-motor skills—while letting those little imaginations run wild! 🥄🤎

Who knew a box of leaf-shaped pasta could turn into this much fun?! 😍🍁

I have a couple of kiddos out sick today, so soup it is for my sweet daycare babies! 🥹❤️🍲

I make soups for my own babies when they’re sick, so of course that same momma instinct kicks in with my daycare babies too. 🥰 There’s just something about a warm, comforting meal when those little bodies aren’t feeling their best.

A little soup, some fresh fruit, warm tortillas, and a whole lotta love. ❤️

He was working on counting to 8, and this little guy counted out 10 apples… then realized there were too many! 😂

Without even realizing it, he figured out 10 - 2 = 8, took two apples away, and corrected himself! 🤯👏🏼

THIS is why I love hands-on learning! He wasn’t just memorizing numbers — he was problem-solving, counting, recognizing quantity, and doing subtraction all on his own. 🥹🧠✨

These little “aha!” moments are EVERYTHING! 🍎❤️

🍎🍂 Fall learning is in full swing at Rachael’s Rascals! 🍂🍎

We’re learning through hands-on, playful activities with all things apples, leaves, colors, shapes, letters, counting, and sorting! 🍏🔤🔢

From building shapes with cereal to sorting apples by size & color, matching leaf letters, and creating colorful apple trees — the kiddos are learning without even realizing they’re learning! 🥰✨

Play + learning = the best kind of day! ❤️💚
