Troubled with algae, pond weeds, or poor water quality in your farm pond? Join the Noble Soil & Water Conservation District for our upcoming Farm Pond Management Clinic on June 11!
This hands-on event will feature:
• Live aquatic plant removal demonstration by Muck Commanders Pond & Lake Services
• Aquatic plant & algae identification
• Aquatic herbicide management
• Nutrient management & water quality education
Whether you own a farm pond, manage livestock, or simply want to improve pond health, this clinic will provide practical information and real-world solutions.

☀️🕶️ Today, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator Lori Harris joined the Noble County Wellness Coalition at the Jump Into Summer event at the Noble County Happy Time Pool!

Participants received valuable sun safety information, including fact sheets about understanding the UV Index, choosing the right sunscreen, and ways to protect themselves while enjoying the outdoors.

As summer gets underway, remember to practice good sun safety habits—apply sunscreen, seek shade when possible, wear protective clothing, and stay hydrated.

Have a safe and fun summer! 🌞🏊‍♀️💦

🌱🍅🥦 The Dexter City Park & Belle Valley Park Seed Libraries were restocked this morning! 🥬🫛🫜 Thank you to everyone who has been completing the sign out forms/survey when you visit! 📚📖

🫑🌽🌻You will begin to notice lighter stocking at all locations in the coming weeks as our seed supply for the season dwindles. 🥕🥒🫘 The usage this year has been incredible! We have dispersed over 4,000 packets of seeds so far. We still have lots of veggies and melons! 🍉🎃🍈 However, we are nearly out of flower seeds at most locations. 🌻🌼🏵️ Please bring back seed you have leftover after planting and seeds you save from your own garden to build the seed library supplies and encourage sharing among participants. 👍🏼

‼️At our remote locations, please remember to either scan the QR code to do the sign out survey or fill out a sign out slip from the little black binder during your visit!‼️

We are glad you are visiting and want to know you stopped by- like a guest book at a party. Don't want your info left behind? Complete it anonymously or scan the QR Code with your phone. 🌱🍅🥦 The Caldwell Public Library will open Friday morning RESTOCKED with seeds! Don't forget to explore the vast selection of gardening books and resources when you visit! 📚📖🪴The Multi-Agency Complex is also restocked again. 🫑🌽🌻 More restocks on the way tomorrow! 🥬🫛🫜
