Reminder about our school carnival tomorrow night at Van Buren.

We are in need of 2-liter bottles of soda and cakes/treats for the cake walk. If students donate (bring to school tomorrow) a cake OR 2-liter bottle of pop they will be appreciated with one free carnival punch card. If they bring a treat AND soda then they get 2!!)

Our spring carnival is coming up!!

Our Van Buren 3rd graders were treated to a visit from the Caldwell Police Department's mounted patrol. Thanks for keeping our community safe and helping to educate the kids of Caldwell.

Make Friday night dinner plans! Come see your Van Buren staff at Arctic Circle! This will be a fun way to support our school fundraising efforts and you won't have to cook dinner!!

Be sure to stop in at the bookfair during conference week!!

❄️🐾 Our 2nd graders have been learning all about the Iditarod sled dog race in Alaska! To make the unit even more exciting, an Idaho musher visited our class and brought her sled dog, Mars. Students loved meeting a real sled dog and learning more about what it takes to be a musher. It was such a fun and memorable learning experience! 🛷

Van Buren Families, please make plans to join us for Dr. Seuss Reading Night On Tuesday, March 3rd from 5:30-7. In celebration of the week, kids are invited to participate in our dress up theme!

Make plans to attend the Sweethearts Dance, Friday, February 13th 6pm to 8pm.

Please help support our PBIS fundraiser. February 2-12, students can "send a soda" of appreciation to a friend. See the flyers for details.

Students who earned their ticket to the Yotes basketball game ae invited to attend "both" the women's and men's games during our School Legacy Night. The women's game begins at 3:00PM, followed by the men's game at 5:00PM.

Our students will be recognized "before" the men's game, so please plan to arrive by "4:30 PM" to ensure they do not miss this exciting moment. Please note, this is not a dop-off event - parents must remain with their student for the duration of the event.
