As our garden season at school is coming to an end, we want to thank Justin Seney and Sam Seney for donating these beautiful raised garden beds that have allowed the kiddos to plant, w**d, water, and eat the vegetables for the summer and beginning of this school year! We would also like to thank Rose Matott for donating the abundance of vegetables (tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, peppers, and cucumbers) for the kiddos to snack on! Lastly we would like to thank Jillian Duda and her son Conner for donating the compost/dirt that allowed our vegetables to grow!
We cannot forget to thank our very own PT Ashley Brassard for orchestrating this and going through all the avenues needed to ensure that the garden was a success!! As well as our very own Katie B (OT) who put in the effort to make this an intentional learning experience for our kiddos.
As Adirondack Helping Hands merged with Saranac Preschool this summer, we are grateful that AHH was able to pass on the garden for the children to enjoy for the years to come!
