"We are very excited about the opportunities this grant funding will open for our Archery Team," said Coach Applegate, "and pleased that the NRA is making an investment in our community."

This was the 6th year for the Kingston Archery Team and the 2nd year being awarded the Friends of the NRA Grant.

Coach Applegate and Coach Thebeau wrote for this grant back in October 2024 after assessing their program's needs for the 2025-2026 year. They are excited to have the opportunity to continue to provide the Archery Program at NO COST to the Kingston K-14 students. They are only able to do this with the assistance from grants such as this one. They would like to extend a huge thank you for the continued support from Friends of the NRA and the local community!

Congratulations Archers!! We are all very proud of you! Keep up the tremendous work! Thank you to everyone that came out to show their support to our Archers!

We also would like to give a very big thank you to all of the volunteers that sacrificed so much of their time to help make this event possible! This dual tournament would not even be a possibility without all of you! Our parents, family members and even our Archers themselves have selflessly volunteered to fill in as Range Officials, gate workers, raffle ticket sales people, and complete orchestrators and workers of our concession stand! The amount of work they put in to this tournament is indescribable and would not be possible without each and every one of you!! This amazing group we have cares so much about our program, the kids and even the Coaches! They are always offering to help, making sure we have something to eat, even when we don’t ask for anything but they know we need something 😊. They are truly an amazing group of kids and family members and we are truly grateful for everything they do!

Our 4th and final Senior Archer for the 2025 school year! We have had a lot of archers over these last 6 years, but Kelsey Courtway is the only one that has been with us from the very beginning of this team! It is very hard to believe this will be her final year with us.
