Hey Everyone! It is tax free weekend here, so several of you will be back to school shopping. For your medical classes, you will need the typicals: notebook paper, black ink pen, index cards, highlighters, pencils, binder to keep it all organized, etc. One thing you may want to purchase this weekend if you do not already have a pair:
- Black scrubs. They must be solid black, no striping, no prints. CNA students can NOT wear joggers; they must be a straight leg that covers the ankle. Your scrubs get worn on field trips, Medical Mondays, internship, etc. Please do not go out and spend a fortune on your scrubs, you probably have a family member or neighbor who has a pair of black scrubs in their closet and are more than happy to give them to you. We also have a Scrubs Closet of donated black scrubs, so if you need assistance with obtaining a pair, just ask Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Collins and we can get you sized.
CNA students you will also need an analog wristwatch. NO smart watches or digital watches. This is a state requirement for state testing.
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and is getting ready to start up again!
