As parents, it’s easy to look at where our children are and wonder when they’ll reach the next milestone. Remember—your child’s journey is their own. Growth doesn’t always happen on a straight line, and every small step forward deserves to be celebrated.

You Know Your Child Best
The things you notice at home a new skill, changes in behavior, things they’re trying, and even the things they’re struggling with are valuable. Your observations matter just as much as what is documented at school.

Advocate With Confidence
You have every right to ask questions. If you don’t understand your child’s progress, ask for clarification. Ask to see the data. Ask what is working, what isn’t, and what can be done differently when progress slows.

✨ Remember: Advocacy isn’t about being difficult, it’s about being involved, informed, and making sure your child has the support they need to thrive.
