Byron High School Theatre Troupe will be casting 2 younger children to play Marta (age 7) and Gretl (age 5) in their production of The Sound of Music, playing March 12-15, 2026. We will be accepting video submissions until Wednesday, January 14th. Callbacks for finalists will be in person sometime after that date.

Coming soon to your local theater…it’s the BHS Fall Play, The Hamlet Thrill-Ma-Geddon by Don Zolidis. This isn’t normal Shakespeare, so don’t worry about being bored because there are lots of laughs and surprises (and the show is less than 2 hours long). Come and enjoy the show!
General Admission tickets are $15 each at the door or free with your student or staff ID or activity pass. You have 4 chances to get there and then it will be over.

As we close another show in my 19th year directing at BHS, we honor Mrs Harn for all of her years of dedication to her choir program and for working diligently until the end to help them sound their best for the show. This show really showed off that hard work. Thank you Mrs Harn and happy retirement!! You will be missed 🥰

Night 2 of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder starts in just a few hours!! Do you notice anything odd about these pictures? Someone may be playing 8 different roles in this show. They are all hilarious. They are all related to each other. And they all die in the end.
See you at the show tonight at 7:30pm! Remaining shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.
Tonight the role of Sibella will be played by Gina Baker and the role of Phoebe will be played by Leeo Rising.
