I must apologize for the spam posts over the last week. I was out of town and those scammers slithered right in! I went through and changed some settings and deleted some outdated posts. Hopefully that will solve the problem. If not, this is your official notice that T-shirts (or anything else) will never be sold here. So regardless of how authentic it looks, I beg you, PLEASE do not fall for it! To the would-be scammers, move on down the road.

Our 45th Class Reunion year has arrived! As of now, we are shooting for a warmer weather time of year. In the works is a dinner/banquet gathering.

Below is the obituary of William Henry Juntunen. I should say, Will (Bill as I will always remember him) was the driving force of our Class becoming digital as soon as we did. He set up our class gmail account and website probably 20 years ago. I believe he had some input into this FB page as well. He proved to have a free spirit once he ventured out of Byron, but in his way contributed to our class being able to remain in contact as we do. I know others have mentioned his writings and his artwork. I thought I'd add a few more details of who he was and mention his helpfulness. Truly a gem. God speed to you all

It is with much sadness that we share with you the loss of our classmate Christine (Petersmark) Nichols. Below is a screenshot with the information that her family has shared.
As you may know, she and her husband Mike made a life in Alaska, which is where Saturday's service will be held.

Christine had stayed in touch with the class by email and FB, and even had attended one of our class golf outings years ago. She has always been so upbeat, witty, kind and thoughtful. She was also a gifted flute player. Please keep her husband, children and extended family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi Class. A memorial for Mrs. Chrisinske will be held on Sat. Jun 7 at 11:00 am. Visitation an hour before the service and also on June 6 4pm-8pm a Watkins Funeral home in Durand. (Link below)

Hi BHS Classmates. Wondering who would be interested in another class golf outing. It would be at Dutch Hollow in Durand on a Friday afternoon and we are looking at a Friday in August or September.

[Edited: We play 4 person scramble, best ball. So pretty much frustration-free. And a great way to spend an afternoon with friends]

Hello Classmates.

I am sad to let you know that we have lost another classmate. Kim Beard passed away yesterday. He was a gentle man and kind person. We can also proudly say that our classmate, Kim, was the proprietor and namesake of Beard's Party Store. That was a very brave thing for him to take on all by himself. Our little town sure could use more people like him. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

I am sorry to have to share some sad news with you. Please keep Michaela and the rest of the Szczepanski family in your prayers. Sadly, they lost Corrie (Szczepanski) Kilpatrick earlier this week to throat cancer.

Per Corrie's wishes, there will be no funeral. She instead wanted everyone to remember her in their own way. I can still remember her pretty smile and cheerful disposition.

Twin sister Michaela shared, "Corrie loved hunting and salmon fishing on the Bestie and Platt river. I'm sure that's what she is doing right now. And she loved living in Byron. It was a special place, she used to say about Byron."

Corrie's family has also asked to please encourage the younger generation to get the HPV vaccine. Save a life, in memory of Corrie.
