The Learning Experience From infancy through preschool, we make early education and daycare joyful, engaging and fun! Our all-inclusive L.E.A.P.

At The Learning Experience – Byron Center, we provide nurturing child care, daycare, preschool, and school-age programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in Byron Center, MI. Conveniently located near M-6 and US-131, we serve families in Byron Center, Wyoming, Gaines Township, and southwest Grand Rapids. Curriculum combines hands-on early education with enrichment programs in music, fitness, science, and more at no additional cost. We also offer before- and after-school care and Summer Camp programs that help children build confidence, friendships, and kindergarten readiness

Friendship Friday 💙

Our little learners had so much fun creating their own pizzas using different shapes and colors! As they picked, placed, and glued each piece, they were also practicing shape and color recognition, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and following directions.

And of course, the best part? Getting to show off their finished creations with a BIG proud smile! 🥰

Math looks a lot more fun when you can play with it! 💙

Our little learners got hands-on with math as they worked through their activity mats using Play-Doh to build, shape, and complete different numbers and patterns. 🔢✨

Activities like this give children a chance to practice early math concepts while strengthening those fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, focus, and problem-solving abilities—all through play!

Fall comes with so many exciting opportunities to learn. 🌱 As part of our My Emotions and Feelings curriculum theme, little ones will explore the sights, textures, and sounds of fall through hands-on experiences with seasonal materials, giving them plenty of opportunities to discover, create, and connect their learning to the world around them.

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨

Learning how to understand our feelings is an important part of learning how to care for ourselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence. 💕 We can't wait to see what this month of exploration and discovery brings! 🌱
