Saturday, September 11th at Wollaston Beach was great fun! Only about 10 class members came but it was still fun. We just sat and chatted, reminisced, shared stories of our adventures and children! Hopefully next time we will be able to see more of our class.

Saturday, Sept 11th from 12:00 until 4:00 on Wollaston Beach across from The Clam Box. (City of Quincy rest room facilities are right across the street)
I have canopy tents for shade. Bring a chair, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks, whatever you want.
I have heard from 20 or more classmates who say they are coming. We would love to see you, too. Bring someone else along. No fluff and no pressure. Just good stories and good conversation. And the tide will be high 😁

CHANGE IN PLANS??
Some have voiced concerns about the Get Together at the Common Market and maybe having to wear masks. I get it and I agree it is not fun.
So, several of us tossed around an idea to change it and just have a Get Together on Wollaston Beach (but not in October!!) What do you think? Proposing the weekend after Labor Day - either Saturday the 11th or Sunday the 12th.
How about across the street from the Clam Box and Tony's?? You could bring your own beach chair, nonalcoholic beverages, even food. We could just share a bit of North Quincy nostalgia and enjoy the outdoors and each other without worrying about masks.
Linda Davis Allen is sending out emails to those she has on the Classmates list.

We have just learned that our classmate, Tom Norton passed away yesterday. The obituary is online already with times and dates of visitations and funeral mass.

Update on the previous post. We need to secure the space soon as it is filling up. October 2nd from 12-4 is open at the Common Market in Quincy. It would be buffet $30 per person with a limit of 40 people. Let us know if you would like to attend asap. Thanks

We have been notified that another classmate, Vinny Clancy passed away on February 6, 2021. So sorry for the losses to our class.

It is awful but I was informed this afternoon that our classmate, Eugene H. Davis passed away in Boca Raton, FL on July 1, 2021. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. It has been an awful few last days being told our classmates, Bill Cox, Bob Huke and now Gene have gone to Heaven. Hopefully they had a great reunion there! :)
