This year, our children took everything they learned from last year’s boat race and put it into action! Using design process, they worked together to:

💭 Brainstorm ideas
✏️ Design a plan
🛠️ Build their boat
🌊 Test and evaluate

We couldn’t be more proud of our amazing kiddos. Their excitement, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork made this experience so special. We can’t wait to see what we create together next year. 💚🚣

There’s nothing better than watching children experience the wonder of nature! 🌿🦒

Today our school-age adventurers spent the day at The Wilds, where we explored amazing animals from around the world, enjoyed a picnic lunch together, laughed with friends, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

These experiences go beyond the classroom by encouraging curiosity, sparking conversations, and helping children learn through real-life exploration. Seeing their excitement and smiles made today truly special! 🍏

🌿🌲 Nature Week is off to an amazing start at Nurture! 🌲🌿

Today, our school-agers enjoyed a beautiful hike to the Stone House at Salt Fork State Park! 🥾🍃 Along the way, we learned about the history of the Stone House, what it was originally used for, and why it’s such an important local landmark.

Spending time in nature gives children the opportunity to explore, ask questions, stay active, and develop a greater appreciation for the world around them. From observing wildlife to learning about local history, today was filled with adventure, curiosity, and hands-on learning!🍏

🏃‍♀️🏅 Sports & Fitness Week is still going strong! 💪☀️

Today our school-age crew joined our friends from All For Kids and Thrive for an epic Ninja Warrior Olympics, and what a day it was! 🤩

The kids raced around the track, battled it out in tug-of-war, conquered obstacle courses, hopped their way through sack races, and took on so many other fun challenges! There were smiles, laughter, cheers, and high-fives all day long. 🎉

Activities like these are about so much more than competition. Being active outdoors helps build strong bodies, healthy minds, confidence, and resilience. The children showed incredible teamwork, encouraged one another, demonstrated amazing sportsmanship, and learned that giving your best effort is what truly matters.

We are so proud of each and every one of our schoolagers for their positive attitudes, determination, and willingness to cheer on their friends. It was an unforgettable day filled with movement, friendship, and memories that will last long after Sports & Fitness Week ends! 🍏☀️

💪🏃‍♀️ Sports & Fitness Week at Nurture!

Today our children had an amazing experience visiting Byesville CrossFit Iron for a fun, kid-friendly workout! They challenged themselves, tried new movements, and showed incredible determination from start to finish.

One of the most valuable lessons we can teach children is that it’s okay for things to be hard. Growth happens when we keep trying, even when we feel tired or something doesn’t come easily. Exercise helps build strong bodies, but it also builds confidence, resilience, perseverance, and a positive mindset.

We are so proud of our kiddos for giving it their best effort, encouraging one another, and pushing through challenges with smiles on their faces.
