Presumptive Best Beginnings Child Care Scholarship Eligibility is Now Available in MAQCS:
*Parents start in the Parent portal
*Parents click on my applications
*Theres is a short survey to see if a parent will qualify for Presumptive Eligibility
*Hit save and parents will be directed to the application screen that shows “Quick Start – Presumptive Eligibility” and they can choose to select the Presumptive application OR “Full Application”
*Please Note: Presumptive application requests less documentation initially and the full application requires more documentation.
*FYI: Presumptive Eligibility (if approved) is allowed once a year, it is for 2 months of care.
*In order to proceed after presumptive eligibility, a Full Best Beginnings Child Care Scholarship Application is required to get the scholarship beyond the two-month presumptive timeframe.
*Please note that approval for presumptive eligibility does not guarantee eligibility for the full Best Beginnings Scholarship.
