IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!!!
To change the seasons we have this show honoring the life and art of
Rose ‘Speaks With Her Colors’ Capellet
and the introduction of her own superhero’s
THE PHOENIX FAMILY
All with specific powers and symbols.
These symbols are seen in her art work, and also in the Crow Heoka medicine.

Rose’s mother, father, and uncle will be at this opening gathering to talk about Rose, her art, Heoka, and its symbolism represented in Rose’s art.
Please join us for light refreshments and snacks and some engaging conversations.

This show has been years in the making. I’ve been working with Jenna (Rose’s Mom) and Jenna has been working non-stop on her end bringing Rose’s characters stories to print, and Images to a large scale.

I am so excited to bring this show to Butte. I’ve been working with Rose’s mother Jenna for two years to get this show in our gallery and on the walls.

art walk season is over, but Art never ends. Please join the IBRC in the foreground gallery this fall for the Phoenix Family show in October followed by a show curated by Butte Native Wellness Center as we fill the gallery this November with an all Indigenous art exhibition.

Shop small, support art, breathe.

See you on October 10th for a presentation of Rose’s work, with some of Rose’s family members present to share stories about the how Rose came into her art and the creation of her Indigenous Superheros
