Trail mix is the ultimate snack for exploring the great outdoors, and our Grand Avenue Montessori summer campers got straight to work preparing for their daily adventures during Camping Week! ⛺

Our little explorers practiced their pouring, scooping, and practical life skills by making their very own trail mix. Not only is building a snack mix incredibly fun, but hands-on cooking activities like this help develop fine motor control, counting, and confidence in the kitchen.

We are expanding our team at Grand Avenue Montessori and looking for a dedicated, warm, and enthusiastic individual to assist in our classrooms!

Qualifications Required:

✅Age: Must be 18 years or older.
✅ Certifications: Must hold a valid First Aid and CPR certification (or be willing to obtain one prior to starting).
✅Screening: Must be able to pass a full background check.
✅Bonus: Previous experience in a childcare, daycare, or Montessori environment is wonderful, but a positive attitude and love for early childhood education are the most important traits!

This week at school we learned all about birds! 🐦

We made bagel bird feeders and had so much fun spreading peanut butter and adding bird seed.

We hung them outside so we can watch the birds enjoy their special treats! ❤️
