Excited to see everyone in Fargo this weekend. Follow along as our athletes participate in 1 practice and 3 games. Our coaches and scouts are eager to watch and speak with prospective players and parents as we present the ACHA’s opportunities.

Are you interested in becoming a Montana Tech Digger? This summer, The Mens' ACHA D2 team, in collaboration with the Montana Tech Oredigger Women’s Hockey team, are running a combined prospect showcase. This event is an excellent opportunity to see what Montana Tech has to offer you in terms of a fantastic education and experience, all while giving you the chance to show us you have what it takes to wear the copper on the ice!

This comprehensive weekend includes both on- and off-ice activities over three days, including:

5 1-hour evaluation and scrimmage sessions over 2 days (Saturday, Sunday).
Campus tours on Friday at either our Main Campus or the Highlands Campus.
Friday informational dinner at the Student Success Center (SSC).

3:30 pm - International Student Orientation and Information Session
4:30 pm - Rink Facilities Tour (1700 Wall St.)
5:30 pm - Team and league information session, dinner provided (Copper Lounge, Student Union Building, On-Campus)

Hockey isn’t hockey without the zamboni.

The Butte Community Ice Center’s Zamboni is down.
According to a recent article, the zam finally gave out after years of repairs, and it could cost tens of thousands of dollars just to get it running again.

This rink supports:
🏒 Youth hockey
🏒 High school hockey
🏒 Montana Tech Men’s Hockey
🏒 Montana Tech Women’s Hockey (our first season)
🏒 Butte Irish Hockey
⛸️ Figure skating 🥌curling, and the entire community

We love the “Zamboni Toni” energy—but right now, we don’t need a nickname…

👉 We need a Zamboni.

Without it, there is no ice.

As we build Montana Tech Women’s Hockey, we are also part of something bigger—supporting the facility and community that makes it all possible.

Butte nonprofit sets fundraiser to repair broken Zamboni The non-profit that runs the Butte Community Ice Center is asking for the public’s help after their Zamboni suddenly stopped working.

This is an event for all incoming students planning to enroll in a four-year or two-year program in Fall 2026. Students entering the Pre-Apprentice Line Program are registered separately and do not participate in Registration Rallies.
