Butner Presbyterian Pre-Kindergarten is a half-day preschool program for children ages 3, 4, and 5. Our mission is "We Learn Through Play." We seek to facilitate a child's lifelong love for learning through songs, stories, fingerplays, crafts, and other fun instruction. Our loving and nurturing environment promotes cooperation with other children, engagement in hands-on activities, and discovery o

f personal interests and talents. Classes run according to the Granville County School's Calendar. Drop-off is between 8:00 and 8:45 and pick-up is between 11:45 and 12:00 noon. Our three year old classroom (for students who are three on or before August 30th) runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our four year old classroom (for students who are four on or before August 30th) runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Children must be toilet trained before entering our preschool. If you are interested in finding out more, we would love to hear from you and have you come by for a visit!

Wednesday, we had a birthday celebration, we painted with Q-tips, and learned about NOT sharing germs. Remember always teach them to cough in their elbows not on their hands. Establish good hand washing routines and work on keeping fingers and toys out of their mouths.
