Nonpareil Equine Services

Nonpareil Equine Services Nonpareil Equine Services offers riding lessons, yoga for equestrians, and horsemanship clinics in western Pennsylvania.

Meagan Greygor, founder of Nonpareil Equine Services, grew up riding and showing hunter/jumpers in western Pennsylvania. While she dabbled in dressage, combined training, team penning and barrel racing, she always came back to the hunter ring. She studied equine science at Otterbein College and was fortunate to work for a few top professionals in the hunter/jumper world, traveling to shows up and

down the east coast. When she decided to focus solely on teaching, she worked her way up to become the head instructor at Saddletree Stables in North Carolina. With nearly 30 years of experience, Meagan stresses good horsemanship and classic equitation in her riding lessons, teaching her students not only good safety and form, but everything about caring for their horse from the ground up. She also strives to build camaraderie amongst her students both on the farm and away at shows. Meagan believes you can never stop learning, and enjoys teaching children and adults alike. She has continued learning in this industry by becoming certified in Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue, Equine Cruelty Investigation, and Open Horse Show Judging. She now resides in western Pennsylvania and offers not only riding lessons, but horse show judging, horsemanship seminars and clinics, and the occasional grooming service, simply because that is something she takes great pride in and enjoys.

Last week’s Advanced Camp was a blast. ✨🐴✨

Riders showed up to not only ride their best, but test their knowledge, learn new things, and take my old cleaning advice of “if you don’t want to lay in a stall, your horse probably doesn’t want to either” to a whole new level. 😆

Excellent job this week, ladies. You made me smile, you made me laugh, and you refreshed my passion for teaching. 🏇

We’re galloping towards our 2026 Advanced Camp! It’s next week already. There are only a couple riding spots available, but this year, we’re also offering Hippology Camp in the afternoon, all about horse knowledge and trivia. That one is unlimited, so join us!

Last month’s horsemanship clinic was a success. Riders came out to learn all about braiding, and got to try their very first hunter braids. I remember doing this after every lesson as a teenager, so I could get good enough to do my own braids at shows. ✨🐴✨

Join us this Saturday for our next horsemanship clinic, this one all about groundwork. How aware are you of the many ways we work with our horses on the ground?

A highlight of a recent hiking trip to New York was staying on a historic horse farm. In addition to learning the fascinating history of that farm raising hunters and racehorses as far back as the 1880s, I loved the nods to the equine industry in the small towns around the area. This mural was in Dansville.

Well look who tagged along on our trail ride last week… 🐈‍⬛👀😆

Last week, the BDS Barn Rats came out to help me give the school horses their summertime mane makeovers. ☀️😎 They learned traditional and more comfortable ways to shorten and thin the horses’ manes, and the horses feel cooler and look sleeker with their new hairdos. Don’t worry. We still have a couple long-haired ponies too, so we’re all set for our braiding clinic this weekend! Come learn traditional hunter braids or how to get a neat look if you don’t want to cut your horse’s mane.

Message me for more information and to register.

Can running (or any kind of cardio workout) help your riding? 🤔 You betcha. 🏇💪

Not only does it help you physically, but it can help you strengthen your mental ability to react under pressure. This is just one of the topics that I’ll talk about at my upcoming Horse & Rider Fitness clinic at Black Dog Stables. Join us!

Josie sums up ba****ck trail riding (…and horseback riding in general) in one sentence. 🤣

Getting the horses out of the arena, and allowing both horse and rider to experience new things, is a great addition to your riding routine. Learn more about mindfully orchestrating your weekly rides in the horse fitness portion of this Saturday’s horsemanship clinic at !

This event was made for the moms... 💐💕🐴

The ones that bring their daughters to the barn and watch with the wish that they themselves were working with horses.

The ones who are always caring for others, rushing from one task to the next, without a moment for themselves.

The ones longing for mindful connection and a minute to breathe.

I'm so happy to bring this event to the community. Send someone that you know in your heart needs this. ❤
