We are incredibly proud to share that Eastside FFA has been named a National FFA Premier Chapter Finalist!

Out of chapters across the nation, our members’ dedication, leadership, and commitment to agriculture and our community have earned them a place on the national stage.

Being selected as a finalist is an incredible accomplishment—but having the opportunity to represent Indiana FFA at the National FFA Convention in October makes this honor even more special.

We are so proud of the work our members have poured into our chapter. This recognition belongs to every member, supporter, family, and community partner who has helped make Eastside FFA what it is today ~ Thank you!

🌽Sweetcorn & Sunflowers Round 1 🌽

Our 1st planting of school-grown Sweetcorn is officially ready! FFA members picked 29 dozen early this morning to ensure the sweetest quality.

1 Dozen (13 ears) = $5
Sunflowers = $2 per stem

Members will be selling tonight starting at 4 PM (Friday) at Butler Days - look for us in the tent on food alley.

97th Indiana FFA State Convention (June 15th-18th)

Some chapters of our story have been written. Others are still Unwritten.

As we returned home from the 97th Indiana FFA State Convention, we found ourselves reflecting on a year of hard work, growth, and opportunity. While we are incredibly proud of the awards and recognition our members received this week, those accomplishments tell only part of the story.

Behind every banner, plaque, and stage appearance are countless hours of practice, preparation, learning, leadership, and perseverance. This week was not simply a celebration of success—it was a celebration of the young people who continue to grow into leaders, advocates, and professionals within the agriculture industry.

This year's convention theme, Unwritten, reminded us that every member has the opportunity to shape their own future. Throughout the week, Eastside FFA members added some remarkable pages to their story:

These accomplishments are certainly worth celebrating, but what makes us most proud cannot be measured by rankings or trophies. We are proud of the confidence that was built, the leadership that was developed, the friendships that were strengthened, and the passion for agriculture that continues to grow within each of our members.

As the advisor, I have had the privilege of watching these students challenge themselves, step outside of their comfort zones, and discover what they are capable of achieving. Whether they stood on stage, competed in an event, served our chapter, or simply took a chance on a new opportunity, every member helped write this chapter of Eastside FFA's story.

The future remains Unwritten, and after witnessing what our members accomplished this year, I cannot wait to see what they write next.

We are so proud of our members who competed tonight in the District 3 FFA Leadership Development Events. This year’s theme, “Unwritten,” reminds us that every member’s story in agriculture is still being written.

Through hard work, practice, and dedication, our students represented our chapter by growing, learning, and sharing the story of agriculture through their contests. No matter the placing, each member helped write another chapter in our program’s story.

Their journeys are still unwritten, and we can’t wait to see where they go next. Congratulations to all of our competitors tonight!

This morning our FFA members had the honor of serving those who serve us every single day! ☀️

To celebrate our amazing teachers, staff, and faculty at Eastside High School, our members prepared and hosted a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast as a small token of our gratitude. From planning and preparing the food to setting up and serving, our students were proud to give back to the people who invest so much in them daily.

Eastside is special because of the dedicated educators and staff who support, encourage, and challenge our students to be their best. We are so thankful for each of you and all that you do — not just during National FFA Week, but all year long.

Thank you for everything you pour into our school community!

It was a GREAT day to celebrate National FFA Week in our elementary school! 💙💛

Our members loved spending the day teaching and learning with students of all ages!

🍊 2nd Grade – Farm to Fork: “How Did That Get Into My Lunchbox?”
We read a story about how food gets from the farm to our plates, played a fun interactive game, and talked about all the steps it takes to get food into our lunchboxes. The best part? Each student enjoyed a clementine to connect our lesson to real life!

🌾 6th Grade – Agriculture, FFA & Careers
With our 6th graders, we dove into what FFA is all about and explored the many career opportunities in agriculture. Students participated in a snowball activity, brainstormed the many ways they use agricultural products every single day, and played a fast-paced game of Ag Career Pictionary!

We love sharing the story of agriculture and showing students that it impacts their lives every single day. Thank you to our elementary teachers and staff for welcoming us into your classrooms during National FFA Week!

🚜💙 National FFA Week Tractor Drive-In 2026 💛🚜

What an incredible way to celebrate National FFA Week! Yesterday, our Eastside FFA members rolled in with an impressive lineup of tractors for our annual Tractor Drive-In. From restored classics to hardworking daily drivers, each tractor represented pride, tradition, and the future of agriculture.

We are so proud of our members for showcasing their passion for the agricultural industry and for sharing a piece of their story with our school and community. Events like this remind us that FFA is more than just blue jackets — it’s leadership, heritage, hard work, and heart.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, helped organize, and came out to support our chapter.
