Yeehaw! Our final week of Camp Rose brought all the fun of the Wild West as campers wrapped up an unforgettable summer filled with adventure, friendship, laughter, and memories that will last long after the season ends. From themed activities and games to one last week of making memories together, Week 10 was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible summer.

As we ride off into the sunset and head toward a new school year, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our campers, parents, counselors, and staff for making Camp Rose such a special place. Your enthusiasm, support, and spirit helped create a summer filled with joy, growth, and unforgettable experiences.

Thank you for being part of the Camp Rose family. We'll saddle up again next summer, but until then, we wish all of our campers a successful, fun-filled school year ahead! 🤠☀️🌅💙

Mission Moment Monday: Joanne Gehm ⭐️

This month, we're proud to spotlight Joanne Gehm, one of our valued Banner Program partners and a dedicated YMCA member for more than 20 years.
As a professional realtor and longtime member, Joanne has experienced firsthand the impact the YMCA has on individuals and families throughout our community. She shares that some of her closest friendships and connections began at the Y, and that it's a place where she continues to meet new people and stay connected.

"What I appreciate most about the Y is that it's about much more than fitness. It promotes a healthy spirit, mind, and body while creating an environment built on caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith."

🏅 From "Try a Tri" to the National Podium!
We're incredibly proud of Get Fit Families Team for earning 3rd Place at Nationals! 🎉

What's even more exciting? Six members of the team got their start in the "Try a Tri" program we partnered with Joella to offer last fall. Their hard work, determination, and growth have taken them all the way to the national stage!

Stories like these show the impact of giving kids the chance to try something new, build confidence, and discover what they're capable of. 💙

We're looking forward to another great season of Get Fit Families and hope to see even more young athletes join us this year!

Week 9 at Camp Rose Hit All the Right Notes! ✨🎶

This week was all about Music Week, and our campers spent the week preparing for an incredible end-of-summer Talent Show! 🌟

From creative crafts and tasty snacks to rehearsals and talent show prep, campers stayed busy building confidence and showcasing their unique talents. The week culminated in a fantastic performance featuring both grade group acts and individual performances, giving every camper (& counselor!) a chance to shine on stage. 🎤🎭🎸

We're so proud of the courage, creativity, and enthusiasm our campers showed all week long. Bravo to all of our performers for putting on an amazing show! 👏💙💛
