The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway! Our halls were filled with familiar faces, new beginnings, big smiles, and plenty of excitement. There’s nothing quite like the energy of the first day when a school comes back to life. 💚

Today we welcomed some of our newest Celtics during Kindergarten orientation!

Parents and students visited their classrooms, learned more about our program, and even got to ride a school bus. 🚌

It was wonderful having so many smiling faces back in the building and we cannot wait for them to officially start the year later this week! ☘️🤍☘️

Alumnus Jimmy Kalis ☘️

Way to go both on and off the field! 🏈📓

Jimmy Kalis came to Central Catholic three years ago as a tall but thin freshman who could bench press only 135 pounds. He is now a big, strong, towering senior who is ranked among the top offensive tackles in the country. 247Sports ranks him No. 25. Kalis, a Cranberry resident and the son of a former NFL offensive lineman, is one of three power-conference recruits on Central Catholic’s offensive line. He also is an excellent student, carrying better than a 4.0 grade-point average.

Welcome Miss Katie Franco, Mr. Jack Majors, Mr. Matthew Bosack, and Mrs. Lisa Bruggeman to the SKCS family!

We can’t wait to see the difference they’ll make in the classroom and our community. ☘️

It was a wonderful evening welcoming back our Celtic family at our Back to School Bash! Students and families enjoyed delicious refreshments, face painting, and playing with friends on the field.

Yesterday we hosted our first Media Day for Fall sports! It was a great evening to welcome back our athletes, take pictures, and enjoy some Kona Ice! ☘️💚🤍
