It’s taken a lot of time for me to think about this post, and I still don’t know that I have the right words. Recently I learned exactly how common it is for women to experience pregnancy loss. So many women have come forward and shared their stories with me- stories that are carried in hearts completely unbeknownst to others. Since then, I’ve wanted to come up with a way for mothers to both honor the babies they’ve lost and celebrate their new beginnings.

So, I introduce to you the rainbow sheep. Rainbow because after the darkest storm comes the most beautiful rainbow of promise. And just one subtle sheep- that you almost have to know it’s there to see- like the love for lost ones those mothers carry in their heart.

These rainbow blankets will be available at the same price as normal sheep blankets and in all the same colors- please just specify to me at the time of ordering.

Who remembers sweet little baby Mackenzie? Born at 23 weeks, she got a custom Supergirl blanket with teeny little capes. We can’t believe how much she’s grown- but she still loves her blankie! ❤️
