Behind the Apron 🥄
When I look at this picture, I see more than a childhood moment. I see the beginning of a connection to food, family and the kitchen that has stayed with me throughout my life.
I come from a family of great cooks. The wonderful smells that filled the kitchens where my family gathered are still so vivid to me. Those memories, along with the example of so many talented cooks around me, left a lasting impression. My uncle and brother both went on to become restaurant owners, continuing that deep family connection to food.
Nearly 11 years ago, that lifelong influence grew into Kids Nutrition Kitchen. Today, I have the privilege of giving children a place to explore, create and build confidence in the kitchen, and perhaps begin some special food memories of their own.
