In just 22 years, Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School (MTCES), a 2018 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, has grown from a one-room classroom in the basement of Our Lady of Sorrows Church to a state-of-the-art campus in Liberty Township. We educate children from kindergarten through the eighth grade; helping them become the best version of themselves as they grow in their faith. MTCES partners

with parents as they develop well-rounded students ready for the challenges of high school and beyond. We are known as the MTCES Volunteers, which is a fitting description; our school was founded by a group of parent volunteers who wanted a faith-based education for their children. Volunteerism founded our school, and is the cornerstone for its continued success and growth. We've had beautiful nights this past week celebrating our community! We welcomed new families at orientation, watched the kindergarteners (the class of 2035!) meet each other at the kindergarten playdate, and celebrated the beginning of the school year with the whole school at tonight's Ice Cream Social.
