Your Marching Spartans are busy this week!

This Thursday is the Fall Festival Parade. Make sure to keep an eye out for us through the parade, you never know what songs we will play!!
This Friday is the B-PC Spartans first home football game! The Marching Spartans have been hard at work getting music up to tempo to perform during halftime! This week snuck up on us and so we want Friday to be all about the music rather than our marching skills.

Make sure if you haven't to order your Marching Spartan shirt or sweatshirt before Sept. 7th!!

The shirt design is both front (Darth Vader) and back (popcorn).
T-Shirts are $22 and Sweatshirts are $27

Band students!
Tonight would be a great night to come in and make sure you have everything ready and in order for tomorrow's Meet the Spartans performance we have.
For tomorrow, please wear Spartan gear or red/blue if you don't have Spartan gear yet. Grab instruments and music from band room at 6:15 (we will do a quick warm-up/run-through) and then we will be on the track performing at 6:45!

HS Band Members,

Reminder that we perform in the track THIS Friday! Meet in band room to grab instruments and music by 6:15pm. We are scheduled to perform by 6:45pm. Don’t Forget!!

Happy Band Camp Day 1!!

If you didn’t know, the HS parking lot is getting redone and is not quite finished… That being said, administration asks that band member be dropped off between the JH and HS.
If you cannot get dropped off and have to drive, please park in the teacher parking lot by the library (closest to the bus garage).
Ms. Sibert will be by the parking lot to help those park as there aren’t any lines. Please reach out if you have any questions/concerns!

We are ONE WEEK away from Band Camp starting!! I hope everyone has had a great summer break and are ready to get to work on Aug. 3rd!

Make sure to bring:
- tennis shoes
- instrument (if you were smart and practiced over the summer 😉)
- water bottle
- snacks (if you think you’ll get hangry)
- sunscreen
- bug spray (just in case)
- and a good attitude!!

ATTENTION B-PC Band Families:
We need volunteers to help out at the Lemonade Shake-up stand on June 25th. This is the same stand we worked last year at the Macomb's Heritage Day Festival.
Please reach out and let me know if anybody is available to help out. The more the help the better!

(this is open to all students and parents, we ask that JH band students have their parent help with them, thank you)

What a great day the bands department had yesterday! We had a student-led contemporary woodwind quintet from WIU came and performed for each band class.
Students got to hear live chamber music, learn about performing in a student-led ensemble, and ask questions about musicianship and teamwork.
Thank you for your performance and inspiring our young musicians! 🎶
