Second Grade celebrated our RLA unit on tall tales by starting with the legendary Paul Bunyan! After hearing his larger-than-life story, we enjoyed some flapjacks, even though they weren’t quite as colossal as the ones in the tale! 🥞
It was so much fun having Paul Bunyan visit our classroom and bringing this tall tale to life! 🌲💙

We are currently seeking donations for our annual PTO fall raffle and would appreciate any and all donations! In the past items have included gift baskets, gift cards, certificates and more. No item is too big or too small! Please let me know if you have a business who would like to support or if you want to make a personal contribution, we would gladly accept any items! A huge THANK YOU to our Burton Elementary parents and families for making school attendance a priority! Every morning you get your child up, ready, and to school on time, you are helping set them up for success.
Being at school matters! Every day a student is present is another opportunity to learn, grow, build relationships, and reach their full potential. Consistent attendance helps students stay connected to their learning and their school community.
Our goal is 97% attendance, and we know we can reach it when we work together! 🙌 Every grade level met the attendance goal last week!
