On August 14, Berkshire Local Schools hosted the Geauga County Department on Aging’s annual Technology Fair for Geauga County senior citizens. For the second year in a row, Berkshire students provided one-on-one technology support, helping senior citizens navigate their devices and answer technology-related questions. This valued partnership teaches our students the importance of kindness, intergenerational relationships, and service to others while creating meaningful connections within our community.

News 5 Cleveland recently spotlighted the profound generosity and care of Berkshire Middle School teacher Hannah Bomback who donated one of her kidneys through the National Kidney Registry (NKR) to help Melissa Johnson, mother of incoming eighth grader Arieauna, get one step closer to finding a matching kidney donor.

For Hannah Bomback, a 7th-grade social studies teacher at Berkshire Middle School, it's a lesson worth emulating outside the classroom.
