It’s our 18th year with our Pleasantdale American Cancer Society walk. We’ve raised over $5500 just in 5th grade and over $2500 online. These families are so generous! We had a parent organize a popsicle fundraiser, kids are having lemonade stands, one of my work besties coordinated a tattoo the teacher fundraiser, former teachers drop off checks to donate, a student who lost his mom to cancer keeps bringing in change he finds every day…the stories go on and on. We come together on Thursday to walk as a school and celebrate us coming together for this cause. I walk for my mom, my dad, my stepdad, my cousins, my friends, and a cancer free future.
