MN School Bus Roadeo Join us for the Minnesota School Bus Road-eo! An exciting day where top
school bus drivers showcase their skills, precision, and safety expertise.

Event will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026! About the Rodeo:

Each year school bus drivers from across Minnesota are invited to participate in Minnesota’s School Bus Roadeo, to test their knowledge and skills in the area of student transportation. Drivers compete individually for top honors in safe student transportation. Drivers have the opportunity to demonstrate their professionalism, skill

, and dedication to pupil transportation in the operation of either a conventional, transit (forward control) or small bus. A written test is administered to quiz the driver’s knowledge concerning the rules and laws governing school bus operations. In addition each contestant will conduct an abbreviated pre-trip inspection to determine if the school bus is in safe operating condition or violations exist. The event culminates with an awards ceremony honoring the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each of the three categories of school buses and Rookie of the Year.
