We’re excited to announce that our ATV & Off-Road Trauma Class is now approved by MN POST for continuing education credit for Minnesota law enforcement officers.

Over the past year, several law enforcement agencies have expressed interest in having officers attend this course, particularly those who patrol trail systems or may respond to ATV, UTV, and other off-road incidents.

As those conversations continued to come up, we decided to move forward with obtaining MN POST approval for the course.

Our ATV & Off-Road Trauma Class focuses on practical, hands-on trauma training and preparing participants to manage medical emergencies in off-road environments.

With POST approval now in place, Minnesota law enforcement officers can receive continuing education credit for attending the course, and agencies will also have the option to host a private class for their personnel.

If you're in law enforcement and interested in attending a future class, keep an eye out for upcoming course dates.

For any Law Enforcement Officers who follow our page, this is a good article to read regarding emergency transports and situations where law enforcement may need to evaluate whether waiting for EMS to arrive and transport is the right call.

This is a concept we carry over into several of our classes, including our Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) class. While every situation is different, if an incident occurs where medics may be delayed, having the knowledge and tools to evaluate your available options, and make an educated decision, can make a life or death difference.

Understanding when transport by means other than an ambulance may be necessary and is an important part of the overall trauma response.

Yesterday we hosted our first open-enrollment Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) class for first responders!

We had officers, firefighters/EMS, and corrections personnel from 9 different agencies across Minnesota come together for a full day of training focused on providing medical care in tactical or dynamic environments.

Students worked through the considerations of when to provide medical care, what treatments to provide and how to provide them, and how to approach patient care when the environment itself may present a threat.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day a success, including our role players and partners for capturing some photos throughout the training.

We appreciate the trust you put in us to provide this training, and we’re looking forward to the next one!

Yesterday we were back at Polaris's Product Development Center in Wyoming, MN, teaching our ATV & Off-Road Trauma Class!

This was a 6-hour course that Polaris specifically requested after completing our standard 4-hour program and asking for a more in-depth version tailored to their team.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Polaris for inviting us back and for continuing to invest in the safety and preparedness of your employees. It speaks volumes about your commitment to creating a safer workplace.

We're proud that this remains the only ATV & Off-Road Trauma training of its kind offered in Minnesota. Hearing that there were nearly 100 employees on the waiting list for this class was both humbling and exciting. We can't wait to come back and train the next group!

Yesterday, we hosted our first Civilian Trauma Response Course in Rosemount, MN.

Students received hands-on training using custom-built equipment designed to create a more realistic learning experience. Participants practiced applying tourniquets and watched simulated bleeding stop in real time. They also learned wound-packing techniques using simulators that not only produce realistic bleeding, but provide visual feedback when adequate pressure has been applied to control the bleed.

They gained practical experience with nasal airways, chest seals, and other lifesaving interventions that can make a critical difference before EMS arrives on scene.
