Woodpark Montessori - Burnsville At Woodpark Montessori Child Care in Burnsville, Minnesota, we use the Montessori approach from infancy through preschool.

We aim to help children lay a foundation in order to help themselves for the rest of his life. The aim of the Montessori Method is to assist the child to develop totally and fully. When a child, especially between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 years old is exposed to the scientific materials in our prepared environment, it brings out their full potential. Our students are given the freedom to choose and proceed at their own pace which is a significant part of the Montessori Method. By doing this the child begins to like what she does and not just doing what she likes. They are able to feel an inner feeling of success.

If you have ever been to Woodpark, you're sure to have met our beloved Miss Misty. Today, we celebrate her being at Woodpark for THIRTY years!!

Misty is often described as compassionate, patient, kind, supportive, empathetic, nature loving, curious, soulful... the list goes on and on. Misty is amazing at building connections with each family that comes through our doors, and I would bet money she not only remembers every single child, but loves them, too.

To know her is to love her, and boy do we ever!
