William Byrne Elementary School PTO The William Byrne Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization At William Byrne, we are proud of our diverse community.

The William Byrne STEM Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizaion comprised of parents, teachers, and school administrators. We work together in an atmosphere of partnership to discuss school issues, promote community involvement, and develop ideas to enhance educational programs. We are working to make our school an inclusive place for everyone. Disrespectful comments will not be tolerated and will be removed.

It’s officially Read-a-Thon season at William Byrne! Our biggest PTO fundraiser of the year kicks off today, and we’re following the kids' lead to READ to REVAMP our playground.

The Goal: 60,000 collective minutes of reading!

The Impact: Raising $12,000 for playground accessibility upgrades.

The Reward: Celebrate with a school-wide Glow Stick Dance Party on March 6! 💃🕺

William Byrne families need our help!

Starting tomorrow, February 2, the William Byrne PTO is organizing a Food and Supply Drive to benefit families in the Byrne community.

Donations can be dropped off at the main entrance during school hours.

Suggested donations include: Diapers (size, 4, 5, and 6 or in highest demand), baby wipes, baby shampoo, infant formula, baby food; reusable grocery bags; shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, contact lens disinfectant; laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, disinfecting wipes, all-purpose surface cleaners, trash bags; toilet paper (top requested item), paper towels, facial tissues; paper plates, plastic utensils; tampons and pads; band-aids, hand sanitizer, first aid disinfectant; vegetable oil, olive oil, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, dried spices like garlic powder, Italian seasoning, etc.; pet food (wet and dry for dogs and cats); and ready-to-eat: pop top cans (no tools necessary).

Our last PTO Meeting of 2025 is this Tuesday, December 16, at 6:30pm.

Don't forget to drop off your Food Drive donations at the William Byrne main entrance!

The Food Drive, organized by the William Byrne Student Council runs through tomorrow, Friday, December 12!

Items needed include: canned meat, canned or dried beans, nut butters, canned fruits, dried fruits and vegetables, culturally specific foods like canned peppers, mushrooms, coconut milk, etc., oils, wheat and non-wheat flour, shelf-stable non dairy milk, sugar, diapers (size 4, 5, and 6), baby wipes, toilet paper, dish soap, and laundry detergent.
