What a fun night! Once we got rolling, eating our way through 4 chocolate and cheese pairings, I forgot to get photos! Thank you ladies, for coming over and diving into chocolate and cheese with me. A wonderful group and let’s do it again soon…..mozzarellla and pizza night!

To keep myself busy while I nursed the pups through a very stressful weekend of fireworks, I made a focaccia using the confit tomatoes I got on my last trip to Paris. To be sure, an impulse purchase at my fave épicerie, but at the time I HAD to have them. Not as much lift and big bubbles as I would have liked, but the flavor and crispy crust are wonderful. I’ve been munching on it all day. Take the time to make the b**a starter the day before, it will pay off in flavor!

Teriyaki pork sliders on one day brioche buns, sriracha mayo, pickled fresnos and cucumber salad. I’m thinking of offering a class for this meal. The buns are amazing and adaptable to any size you want.
For dessert…grilled peaches, sweetened spiced ricotta and ginger cookies

Mini Pavlovas tonight! Rosewater meringue with raspberry curd and almond chantilly!
I tried to make pistachio brittle for the top, but it was raining and wet all day and the brittle didn’t firm up. Springtime humidity🤦🏻‍♀️
