Hard work doesn’t stop when the workday ends! ☀️

We’re so proud of our partnership with Gertens, where dedicated employees are investing in themselves by attending English language classes after work. After a full day on the job, they continue learning, building their English skills, increasing their confidence, and working toward important workplace literacy milestones.

Together, we’re strengthening our workforce and building a more connected community through education.

A big shout out to Teacher Denise for everything she does to make this happen!! 👏

☀️ 31 students passed their Personal Care Assistant Certifications this summer!!! 👏 👏 They are now qualified to work as a PCA or Resident Assistant!

We are so excited to offer a NEW Thursday evening class option for students this fall!

Learning goes beyond the classroom!

Today, our Adult Basic Education Bus Driving Preparation students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on training with the amazing team at Schmitty & Sons Bus Company. Students explored the mechanics of school buses and learned about one of the most important safety systems on a commercial vehicle—the air brake system.

Experiences like this help bridge classroom learning with real-world skills, giving students greater confidence as they prepare for their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) journey and future careers in student transportation.

A huge thank you to Schmitty & Sons Bus Company for investing in our students and providing this valuable hands-on learning experience. Partnerships like these help create meaningful pathways to employment and strengthen our community.
