We had a great Pre-MPA concert last night. We really enjoyed having Mr. Sanders, Mr. Gudger, and Dr. Womack out to adjudicate us and work with us after the concert.

MHHS had 6 band students participate in the Mars Hill University Honor Band this weekend. We are super proud of these students and happy with the wonderful experiences they had the past two days. They performed fantastically!

Thank you to the members of the community who donated pumpkins for a new tradition with the marching band. The kids really enjoyed the pumpkin carving.

Also, congrats to our three seniors on your last main season football game. Thanks for working hard!

Fall 2023 Concert 🎵

The Concert Band had a phenomenal performance tonight. We had quite the crowd for the first one of the semester. Thank you to all who came to see us perform!

We had the pleasure of having Dr. JT Womack of Mars Hill University (Mr. Reese’s alma mater) come in during class today and help give the group some advice and encouragement prior to the concert.

Keep your eyes and ears open for our next concert in December!

The Heritage Vs. Mitchell game this past friday was fantastic. We had a chance to have a combined performance of the national anthem with the Mitchell Band.

Cougars Football came up with the win, too!
