It's Back to school time and that means its time for the annual Burns FFA Chapter Back 2 School BBQ!

Make plans to join us for hamburgers, chips, and a drink on Tuesday September 8th, at 6:30pm in the BHS Ag Shop.

This is a great time to find out whats going on this year, meet the new officer team, parents come and meet Mr. Luna and ask questiosn about FFA.

💙💛 A HUGE HONOR FOR THREE BURNS FFA MEMBERS! 💛💙

We are incredibly proud to announce that Dalton Fox, Hayden Hubbard, and Gage Grommon will receive their American FFA Degree this fall at the National FFA Convention! 🇺🇸🌾

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree the National FFA Organization can bestow upon a member, and only less than 1% of FFA members nationwide earn this prestigious honor.

Earning the American Degree takes much more than wearing the blue jacket. Members must have earned their State FFA Degree, maintained at least three years of FFA membership, and demonstrated significant achievement through their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), including productive investment and earnings.

Dalton, Hayden, and Gage have put in the work, made the commitment, and demonstrated what it means to take advantage of the opportunities FFA provides.

This fall, they'll walk across the stage at the National FFA Convention to receive their golden keys and American FFA Degree certificates—a moment that represents years of dedication and achievement.

We couldn't be more proud of these three outstanding Burns FFA members!

Three members. One incredible accomplishment. A lifetime achievement.

💙💛 LET’S TALK STATE FAIR! 💛💙

Buckles. Banners. Hard work. Determination. Blue jackets. Gold standards.

That’s the Burns FFA way. 🌾🏆

What a week it was at the Wyoming State Fair! Our members stepped into the show ring, the shop, and the competition arena and represented Burns FFA with the kind of pride and grit that makes us incredibly proud to be their advisors.

Every buckle and banner tells a story—but behind every award are early mornings, late nights, countless hours of work, and members who refused to settle for anything less than their best.

We are so proud of what our members accomplished and even more proud of how they accomplished it—with sportsmanship, humility, teamwork, and that unmistakable Burns Bronc pride.

We are honored to continue a tradition built on excellence, pride, service, and tradition. The blue jacket means something, and our members continue to prove it every time they put it on.

Now the boots get traded for school shoes, the show boxes get put away, and it’s BACK TO SCHOOL! 📚🌾

A new year. New members. New goals. New opportunities.

Same blue jackets. Same gold standards. Same Burns FFA tradition of excellence.

🐷🐐🐔💙💛 Today was a GREAT day for Burns FFA at the Wyoming State Fair! 💛💙🐔🐐🐷

Our members were busy all over the grounds, taking on the Swine, Goat, and Poultry Shows!

🐷 Swine: Members hit the ring for FFA Showmanship, Market Swine, and Breeding Swine—and once again, they showed up ready to work!

🐐 Goats: Our exhibitors brought the same grit and determination to the goat ring, proudly representing Burns FFA.

🐔 Poultry: Our poultry exhibitors also stepped up and showcased their hard work and dedication!

And do we have some banners coming home to Burns? You know we do! 🏆🏆

We’re incredibly proud of every member who stepped into the ring today. The early mornings, long days, and countless hours caring for their projects are what make these moments so rewarding.

And then there was the rain… 🌧️😂

Because apparently the Wyoming State Fair needed a little extra challenge today!

Rain or shine, these blue jackets keep showing up, working hard, and getting it done.

Way to represent, Burns FFA! The week isn’t over yet! 💙💛

💙💛 We kicked off the Wyoming State Fair in style! 💛💙🤠

The Burns FFA crew hit the ground running, and the blue jackets are already making some noise!

🔧 Agriculture Mechanics: Congratulations to our members who entered projects and brought home some ribbons! All those extra hours in the welding booth are starting to pay off. 💪🔥

🐷 Champion of Champions Swine: Reece West made the final drive and put it all on the line against some incredible competition. He came up just a tad short—but that’s livestock showing! Different judge, different day. The work doesn’t change, and neither does the pride we have in this member.

That’s what makes showing livestock so valuable. You learn to win with humility, lose with grace, and come back ready to work harder the next day.

The week is just getting started, and our members are ready to keep learning, competing, and having a heck of a lot of fun!

Let’s keep the blue jackets moving and the Burns Bronc pride rolling! 🌾🏆

🏆💙💛 TONIGHT WAS ONE FOR THE BOOKS! 💛💙🏆

What a way to cap off an incredible Laramie County Fair!

A HUGE congratulations to all of our amazing Burns FFA members who qualified for the Kiwanis FFA Sale of Champions! Months of early mornings, late nights, hard work, dedication, and a whole lot of love for their projects all came down to tonight.

We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you. You stepped into that ring, represented Burns FFA with pride, and showed everyone what hard work and the blue jacket are all about.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne, Cheyenne Frontier Days, and every single buyer who came out to support the FFA members of Laramie County. Your generosity does so much more than support a livestock project—it invests in young people, agricultural education, and the future of our communities.

And perhaps one of the coolest parts of the night? Watching Laramie County FFA chapters come together and celebrate one another. That’s the power of the blue jacket. 💙

Congratulations, Burns FFA! What a week. What a chapter. What a night!
