This week, WTC Biomed students explored two very different areas of science through hands-on activities. Students practiced fingerprinting techniques used in forensic investigations and constructed paper bone models to learn about bone structure, function, and the differences between compact and spongy bone.

We're celebrating the launch of Western Technology Center's new Aviation Structures Technology program and the students who are helping us make history as our very first class! Right now, they're building a strong foundation by learning tool fundamentals, shop safety, and industry practices that will prepare them for hands-on structural repair work in the aviation field.
