❤️ One team, five campuses, and lots of reasons to celebrate what makes WTC special!

Today, our WTC team came together for an all-staff professional development day filled with learning, strategic planning, presentations, and some fun along the way! Between sessions, we took time to connect through a fun activity where employees drew prompts and matched them with fellow WTC team members. 🤝

While we’re all part of one great team, our five campuses mean we don’t always get to see or connect with everyone as often as we’d like. That’s what makes days like today so special! We get to learn together, laugh together, build relationships, and be reminded that we’re all working toward the same mission: Educating People For Success. 💙

Building safer workplaces across western Oklahoma!

WTC Business & Industry Services recently trained more than 10 employees from Hill's Pet Nutrition in Clinton through a Permit-Required Confined Space Training course. Led by BIS Director Cody McPherson, the training equipped participants with the knowledge needed to recognize hazards, follow safety procedures and stay safe on the job.

More than 800 ninth-grade students filled our Burns Flat campus this week for West Fest 2026! 🎉

Over two days, students from across western Oklahoma explored WTC programs through hands-on activities, facility tours and conversations with our instructors and current students. West Fest gives ninth graders an opportunity to discover career pathways and learn about the training programs available to them as future WTC students.

Thank you to students and educators from Arapaho-Butler, Burns Flat-Dill City, Canute, Clinton, Cordell, Corn Bible Academy, Elk City, Hammon, Hobart, Lone Wolf, Merritt, Sayre, Sentinel, Sweetwater and Weatherford, as well as our homeschool and online students, for joining us!

We loved sharing what makes WTC special and helping the next generation explore their future. 💙

WTC-Sayre Business Technology had an incredible day at the BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Norman earlier this week! Competing alongside more than 2,200 students from across Oklahoma, our chapter earned 1st Place for our state project, Chains of Love for Special Olympics.

Through the hard work and generosity of our students and supporters, we raised $2,055 for Special Olympics and brought home the gold! 🥇

In addition to this amazing accomplishment, students participated in leadership sessions, heard from an inspiring guest speaker, and connected with BPA members from across the state.

We are so proud of our students for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to making a difference. What a GREAT day to be a WTC student!
