We do this through resources, weekly men and women's Bible studies, outreach, prayer and counseling.

God is not looking for ability, instead He is looking for availability.

" You don’t know the what, the why, or the how. All you know is God. But that’s enough. It’s enough for people of faith. It’s enough for people who know their God. It’s enough for people who’ve trusted His love. It’s enough for people who’ve felt His grace.

Yes, there is a hard side. There may be pain, there may be sacrifice, but God will see you through. If you could ask Isaiah or Abraham or Mary, each would tell you; “I have no regrets. God can be trusted. It is always best to trust the Lord."

I read this great quote once that said " The difference between a teacher and a mentor is this- a teacher can teach but may not have had breakthrough in their life. A mentor however, has had breakthrough, and you are inheriting their breakthrough from their price paid.

The signs of a true mentor, is that they show their scars, mistakes, and failures, to help others avoid theirs. You can not inherit an inheritance from a teacher, only from one who has an inheritance to leave, which is a mentor."

My prayer for all of us in 2026 is that the Holy Spirit leads us to someone who can mentor us for the season we are in, and someone that we can mentor as we grow in God's word and a relationship with Him.

Ladies of the Burnet area...are you looking for a non-denominational topical bible study where you can make friendships with women of like faith and values? If so, join us from 7p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday nights at Trailblazer Grille-Burnet!

Today is our last day of fasting and praying for Burnet County. Thank you to all of you, not just in our county, but all over, who participated in covering our community in prayers of protection on our roads, in our schools and businesses...

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer as well as the promises of God.

Psalm 34:17 ESV
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Isaiah 65:24 ESV
Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

Let's continue to pray over our people here and all over, that an Angelic host covers us and that we begin to hear of miraculous interferences preventing tragedies! Let our testimonies of God's amazing grace and mercy be what points people to Him.

Hey Burnet County Christ-followers!

Back in February several of us from various churches and ministries initiated a Prayer on the Square campaign that focused on praying over our County, especially because of the vast amount of deaths involving head on collisions and even children's deaths in 2024 and early 2025.

While it seems that those tragic events did slow down for a while, we are most certainly seeing an uptick on car accident fatalities once again. It is so tragic! But if you have been a follower of Jesus for any time at all, you know the power of prayer!

I am hoping that those of you reading this, whether you live in our area or not, would be willing to join us all next week Aug 11th - 15th for a time of not only prayer but also fasting. YES, PEOPLE STILL FAST 😊In Matthew 6:16 Jesus says "and when you fast", not IF you fast.

This is what we would like it to look like- if you would take one day next week and commit to fasting a meal, or however many the Holy Spirit leads you to, and during that time pray specifically over Burnet County...for the protection of its citizens and all who drive through... of course whatever else God lays on your heart to speak over our county.

**There is so much power in prayer and especially in unified prayer and fasting!
