The children in my care are in a loving environment, as well as a learning environment. daily learning in Daycare does not end with the basic preschool education. While in my care the children learn manners, problem solving skills, as well as confidence . I have taken many classes over the 6 years that I have been running my in-home childcare, but I have learned most of the important knowledge fro
m the children. Each child is unique in their own way, it takes time and effort to really get to know them, and understand them. My main goal is to allow the parents to be comfortable leaving their kids with me, as well as, being comfortable talking to me about any issue that arises. It is just as important for the children to trust me and enjoy coming to my home. Children are going to have days where they just want their parents, but the interaction and attention I give them always helps them feel comfortable while away from home. I have cared for 26 different children and 19 of them I have cared for for between 2 and 6 years, they are more than Daycare children they are children that look up to me and that grow very close to my heart.
