Second grade students have been visiting all different locations around Burlington, exploring the important work the happens there and interviewing the workers. They recently visited the Post Office and got a behind the scenes tour. Mr. PK, a life long stamp collector, visited the classroom before hand to wax poetic about the postal system and share some of his collection.

Artist in Residence, Erok, worked with our 2nd grade class to culminate our bug study! Both classes worked with Mr. PK and Erok to paint several new bug members of our meadow mural. This residency is a collaboration between Erok, SA and IAA made possible by the Vermont arts council. We are excited to see pictures from the IAA etymologists and their bug mural.
