Follow Jimmy as he walks you through our many farm projects, in honor of Earth Day. Cassava, passion fruit, wheat, eggplant, eggs from our chickens and ducks, honey from our bee hives, and delicious catfish from our fish ponds. Sustainable, organic farming at Malayaka House allows us to reduce costs, feed our kids nutritious food, and protect our beautiful earth.

Finally back to school!!!

Today is a very special day for so many reasons. In addition to being Christmas, it is also the 20th birthday of our very first child—the one who started it all—Malayaka. And with that, we are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the beginning of Malayaka House.

We can hardly believe that 20 years have passed. During that time, we have watched so many of our children grow into extraordinary, successful young adults. They are excelling in school and sports, starting businesses, and attending university, with several currently pursuing graduate degrees in India.

We could not be more proud of the family we have built here in Uganda. From the children to the aunties, to the volunteers and supporters around the world, this community continues to inspire us. We are deeply grateful for the support of friends like you—without it, none of this would be possible.
