Greetings everyone. I wanted to post that I learned of a passing from another class. Many of you may have already heard, but Tazz Wilson (WHS Class of 1992) recently passed away. He wasn't in our class but I know many of you were friends with him back in the day. As you hear about other deaths that you want posted on this page, please let us know.

Greetings everyone, a message from Chris Huneycutt.

Hey Class of 1993, I hope you are all having a terrific start to the summer. I wanted to share some information with you that you might be interested in, especially if you are local. I have the pleasure of serving as President of the Williams Athletic Boosters and we are having a “24 in 24” drive beginning today where we are pushing to have 24 Williams alums join our booster club. It is the easiest way to support athletics at your alma mater and if you are local and want to attend sporting events, there are levels of giving that include free sports passes. In addition, if you join before July 1, you will receive a custom graphic that will be posted on our social media.

With a membership, you are able to designate 80% of the cost of the membership to a sport or sports of your choice. The remaining 20% goes to the athletic department in general. Ticket prices at the gate for all sports will be $10 for the coming season and the sports pass can save a lot.

Hey classmates, wanted to share that the Williams Booster Club is hosting our first “reverse raffle” at the Burlington Shrine Club on Saturday, February 3rd. Tickets are $100 and gets a filet mignon dinner, open bar, and a chance to win up to $10,000. Meal only tickets are $40. If interested, shoot me a note.

Happy Monday - last time for a while I bother you. We have a small balance of $520.11 left over by my calculations and spreadsheets. Based on the invoice I got this morning, more tickets were purchased than actually used and a couple classmates donated money since they could not attend.

I would like your permission to donate these funds to Williams PTSO and the band because I know they are both hurting for help. I will split the money 50/50 in honor and memory of the Class of 1993.

Truly this is one special class. There are not many like it and certainly none that I know of enjoy each other’s company the way we do.

Outstanding turnout last night for a huge Bulldog victory over Eastern Alamance. Congratulations to the Bulldogs players and staff.

Remember the festivities begin at 6:00 tonight at Alamance Country Club (2402 Pineway Drive). If you have not prepaid and registered, you are welcome, $65 at the door.

Beer $5, wine $8, soda pop $3.

I know we will see lots of different attire, I would think “business casual and cocktail attire” would be great but if you can wipe the sticky off your letterjacket sleeves, wear em!

Happy HumpDay folks. Thank you to those who have confirmed and paid for this weekend. We have around 70 classmates and guests coming. For walk ups, the cost is $65 per person and I will take cash, check, or electronic payments.

The bar will open at 6:00, food will be out at 6:30 and be out until 8:30. Party ends (at least the party at ACC) ends at 10:00. We can always go hangout at Raygo.

Speaking of bar, remember we will be selling tickets for beverages. Beer is $5, wine is $8 and soda pop is $3. I hear that Mary Perrou Chester and Angie Oakley Brement will have the liquor hookup in the parking lot!

For those coming to the homecoming football game Friday night, it will be crowded so plan accordingly. You can by tickets ahead of time at GoFan. Tickets are $8. We don’t have any particular section roped off, but I suggest sitting in the section in front of the Pete Stout box (Men’s restroom building) if you don’t already have a plan.

This has been coming down the tracks for a long time and I look forward to seeing you. Safe travels into Bur-Vegas.

Hey Bulldogs. Only 24 hours left to pay to come to the reunion.

Please note: if you send me money on Venmo and especially PayPal, PLEASE do not select Goods and Services. It is a friend payment. I am being charged $3-$4 of the transaction and right now. If I exceed $600 in “purchases” I will have to pay income taxes. If you pay me with any of the platforms, it should be a friend transaction.

Also, as mentioned Friday, we are not turning people away at the door but Alamance counts attendees so the cost will be $65 at the door per person and we cannot guarantee food unless you register by 3:00 tomorrow.

For anyone attending Friday’s Homecoming game against Eastern, it will be very crowded. I suggest arriving earlier and sit in the section towards the men’s bathroom on the right. That section usually is pretty open in case you are meeting up with friends. It is gonna be a beautiful night according to the weatherman, at least right now.

TGIF Bulldogs. This is the last weekend to signup and pay for the reunion. I will be turning in the headcount on Monday, so make it happen. Reminder the cost is $60 per person or $110 for two.

We will be having a "southern" buffet dinner, a ticket bar (beer will be $5, wine $8, and soda $3) and Mr. Bruce Church will be spinning the tunes and yes, there will be karaoke opportunities.....Chris Tarry, I am looking at you pal. Cash is preferable for purchasing tickets.

We are not going to turn people away if they walk up, but there won't be food since that will be based on paid guests, so please sign up. We have "three easy ways to pay" - Paypal, Venmo and CashApp, pinned above. Please feel free to text me with any questions, 336-213-2895.

As far as what to wear, cocktail attire would be appropriate but I am not the fashion police and we are almost 50, LOL. I just look forward to seeing you there.

Doors open at 6:00, buffet is out from 6:30 to 8:30. Bar is open from 6-9:45 and the event is over at 10:00.

We might not have another one of these for 20 years, so don't miss this one.

Lastly, our varsity Bulldogs are on the road at Orange High School tonight for an important conference game. Kick is at 7:00.
