Announcement to all 7th grade volleyball girls & parent/guardians:
*First 7th grade volleyball meeting for players & partial practice will be MONDAY August 24, 2026 3:30-5:30 pm at ALDO. You will take a BUS to ALDO after school Monday to join. (ALL BUS RULES APPLY!)
Each girl needs to have a PHYSICAL and EMERGENCY/concussion notification form completed and up to date, then uploaded onto BOUND online at https://www.gobound.com/ia/schools/burlington under 7th grade volleyball, or they cannot play. Please add the BOUND app to your phone to be able to receive communication from coaches. This is the expected form of communication for sports. You can find the physical forms at Edward Stone Office if needed. Physicals can be done at a doctor's office or chiropractic office.

ALL Practices will be held at ALDO daily 3:30-5:30pm unless otherwise informed, girls will take the BUS over after school starting Monday 8/24. Parents/guardians need to pick up their daughter from ALDO by 5:30pm. Also please note that ALL Home Games will be held at Edward Stone Gym starting at 4:30pm, first game on Monday 9/14 away at Keokuk.
Dress code includes:
regular gym shorts are preferred for practice, regular t-shirt, sports bra, knee pads (any brand/color), athletic tennis shoes (not converse, not vans, volleyball shoes are not required), hair pulled back, and (ankle braces are optional). Bring your own water bottle (do not share for any reason) and your own hand sanitizer. Bring inhaler if applicable as well. Also your daughter will need black shorts for games (black spandex is allowed for games but not required). NO jewelry allowed. NO cell phone usage during practice and games.
FYI: The last day to sign up for 7th grade volleyball is FRIDAY 9/4/26. The sooner you join, the better to learn the volleyball skills and drills.
*FYI: PARENT MEETING TBD at ALDO Gym at 5:00pm at a later date (at end of practice).
